Live electronic music acts are fairly ubiquitous these days. Pick up any flyer or bill, and you’re all but sure to see at least one.
But few take things quite as far, or get quite as creative with their live performances as Italy’s Giorgia Angiuli.
Classically trained, the Puglia native combines keyboards, drum pad and theremin with the sounds of toy flute, sax, trumpets and all manner of toys in her live set for something playful and original.
Her unique style has earned her spots at clubs like Tenax, a spot on DJ Ralf’s lauded booking agency, and her productions have ended up on labels like Bpitch Control and Kevin Saunderson’s legendary KMS imprint.
