Carola Pisaturo is the owner of Italian label Claque Music, and a woman for whom the intricate art of electronic music production is very close to her heart. A true purveyor of quality sounds, Pisaturo has been involved in the game for some time now, regularly gaining props both at home and abroad for her own productions and those which she releases on her aforementioned Claque imprint. 2015 looks set to be another big year for her in that regard, as she teamed up recently with compatriot Nick Anthony Simoncino for the thoroughly brilliant Dear Breeze. We caught up with her recently to talk labels, staying motivated and what it means to have Ron Trent remixing her work…
I’m in seventh heaven, very happy about the gigs I’m playing, but most of all very active again with new productions…How are you recently? How’s your winter been? Many highlights?
Wonderful, thanks! I’ve had a very busy winter, packed with new projects. I’ve strengthened some collaborations and new opportunities arose I’ve been really honoured to take. LATERRA, my Italian management company, founded by DJ Ralf, was joined by new, fantastic friends, while abroad I became part of Cocoon’s Flash roster, which filled me up with pride.
So where are you at now with your music?
I’m in seventh heaven, very happy about the gigs I’m playing, but most of all very active again with new productions; my relationship with the studio is a mix of love and hate, like all big loves after all!
