Luca Bear & Giorgia Angiuli “New Mission” Ep on Wow! Recordings
Anyone who’s followed the WOW! label to date (or indeed, the career of its owner, Mar-T), will be all too aware of just how influential the label is to fans in the modern house and techno domain. Much of that is attributable to the label releasing the sort of 4/4 that’s that much different: the sort of music that moves feet but also leaves us questioning its methods. On that basis, their latest is another triumph. It comes at us from Luca Bear and Giorgia Angiuli, an emerging pairing for whom the New Mission EP signals the first time they’ve worked together. And a fine release it is too.
